Our biggest campaign and the one that started SLB Cares. $1,002,449 raised in four years, all in Michael's memory. This year, we're going for $500,000.

About the fundraiser
Giving back to the people who gave Michael eight years.
Every fall we run a bottle raffle where whiskey and bourbon lovers buy tickets for a chance to win donated bottles. Every dollar goes directly to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
We started in 2022, two years after our grandson Michael passed away. Riley cared for him for all eight years of his life, and we wanted to give something back. That first year we raised $18,000. By 2025, the community had crossed a million dollars.
Year five wraps up on Friday, October 30, 2026. Tickets will be sold through our GalaBid page, and the link will be posted right here and on @slbdrinks the moment it goes live.

Distilleries, whiskey clubs, and collectors from across the country donate bottles, from everyday favorites to true unicorns.

Tickets are sold through our GalaBid page. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you have to win.

On Friday, October 30, we draw winners live and celebrate what the community built together.

Riley gets the check
Every dollar goes directly to Riley Children's Foundation to support kids and families at Riley Hospital for Children.

When is the 2026 Riley Children's Hospital fundraiser?
Our 5th annual fundraiser for Riley Children's Hospital wraps up Friday, October 30, 2026. Our goal this year is $500,000. Raffle tickets are sold through GalaBid. We will post the link here and on Instagram when sales open.
How does the bottle raffle work?
Distilleries, clubs, and collectors from across the country donate bottles. You buy raffle tickets for a chance to win them, and winners are drawn live on fundraiser night. Proceeds go to Riley Children's Foundation.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. SLB Cares is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 39-4345922. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
Where does the money go?
Riley fundraiser proceeds go directly to Riley Children's Foundation to support Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, which has received $1,002,449 from our community since 2022. Proceeds from our golf outing support suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

Why did SLB Cares start?
Our first grandchild, Michael, was cared for by Riley Children's Hospital for all eight years of his life. After he passed in 2020, we started SLB Cares to give back. What began as an $18,000 raffle in 2022 has grown into over a million dollars raised by the whiskey community.
